Cyberbullying (CB) is a type of virtual violence exercised mainly by social networks, it is configured by subjective elements derived from digital jargon and adolescent communication modes. In order to compare and analyze the subjective and emotional responses in a sample of Mexican secondary school and high school schoolchildren, victims (n = 136) and perpetrators (n = 66), a quantitative, exploratory study was carried out. descriptive and transversal, the Cyberbullying Questionnaire was applied (Ortega, Calmaestra, & Mora, 2007). As the most frequent emotional responses to cyberbullying in both populations, anger and feeling bad prevailed. High school schoolchildren’s share their concerns about cyberbullying with friends and secondary school students’ report it to their parents. Teachers are the ones who go the least.
