The objective was to show in a descriptive and comparative way the existing prevalence of psychosocial risks in Mexican public sector workers, the method implemented was descriptive statistics and analysis of Pearson correlations; as well as structural equations. The results gave rise to the identification of psychosocial risk variables, the originality lies in identifying the most influential and moderating variables of burnout, the results resulted in the identification of very prevalent psychosocial risk variables among this type of workers; As well as identifying that pain and sleep disorders become important as a possible impact on the worker's health, the limitations are the lack of representativeness of the subjects of study in the public sector. Findings prevalence of psychosocial risk in human rights workers, can be studied, controlled and intervened by moderating the demands and control of favorable resources through the factor of emotional wear and tear in burnout.
