This paper’ purpose is to demonstrate that there are many witchcraft and demonic models profiled in specialized literature similar with each other. These models have an origin in common: a single European standard, despite every one of them has specific differences. Our research is based on the consult of documents belonging to Mexican Inquisition’s archive (second half of the 17th century). One of its contributions is to demonstrate, trough the analysis of the role of four women, the presence of a cultural, discursive and a representation of the European Devil and the Witch in the north of New Spain that correspond to a specific Hispanic diabolical model.
