Pilotrichella, a genus of epiphytic mosses comprising 6 species and 1 form, is represented in Mexico by P. flexilis (Hedw.) Aongstr., P. flexilis fo. nudiramulosa (Müll. Hal.) B. H. Allen & Magill, P. mauiensis (Sull.) A. Jaeger, and P. reesei B. H. Allen & Magill. The last species is known from a single specimen. The Peruvian P. vermiformis B. H.
