RAMIREZ RAMIREZ, Argelia e ORTEGA GUERRERO, Juan Carlos. Institutional impact of international student mobility. The case of the Universidad Veracruzana. CPU-e. Rev. Investig. Educ [online]. 2019, n.28, pp.207-233. Epub 11-Set-2020. ISSN 1870-5308. https://doi.org/10.25009/cpue.v0i28.2605.
Within the framework of a globalized society it is necessary to know how the international mobility activities of master’s degree students are conducted, how they are perceived, and how they contribute to the prestige of the study programs and the university. For this study, the institutional impact is analyzed taking into account the following categories as reference: agreements, curriculum integration, home internationalization, master´s degree organization, support for the success of the visiting stage, knowledge and monitoring the development of the visiting stage and financial support. Such categories merge after having interviewed students, scholars and mobility agents within Universidad Veracruzana. After interviewing students, scholars and administrative staff at the Universidad Veracruzana, it can be concluded that student mobility and agreements are the international activities with the greatest impact. Others activities are at an initial stage at the University and, for this reason, their effect is less noticeable, which does not mean their development is not necessary.
