The development of a repository of Open Educational Resources for the Academic Body of Applied Computing of the University Center UAEM Valle de Chalco is presented, with the intention of integrating a new repository so that it is functional and responds to the practical needs of knowledge dissemination of the Academic Body. In order to determine its sections, an observation grid was initially applied to a sample of 12 repositories. Once the first version of the repository was developed, usability tests were performed. The result is a repository with the sections: search, statistics, communities, contacts us, news, suggestions, login, upload resources, privacy notice, about, help, frequently asked questions and policies. It is concluded that having well-defined use policies according to the needs of the users encourages the use of the repository. It is suggested for future work to measure the impact of the repository with people outside the Academic Body for which it was created.
