DIAZ-PATINO, Diana-Gisela  e  ANAYA-VELASCO, Ana. The connection between psychosocial risk factors and health in university workers: a systematic review. Rev. iberoam. educ. super [online]. 2022, vol.13, n.38, pp.182-203.  Epub 27-Mar-2023. ISSN 2007-2872.  https://doi.org/10.22201/iisue.20072872e.2022.38.1518.

This article has as purpose to identify the connection between psychosocial risk factors and health in university workers. To do so, a systematic review of articles published between 2015 and 2021 in indexed databases was conducted. Among the results, the authors found that stress was negatively related to psychological demands, compensation, double presence and workplace harassment. Psychological demands were positively related to emotional fatigue, in the same way as strains and insecurity were associated to psychosomatic symptoms. The overall risk level ranged from low to very high. The article presents divergent results and underlines the need to deepen the analysis, to address the shortage of Mexican works during the COVID-19 pandemic and to develop longitudinal studies.

Palavras-chave : psychosocial factors; health; workers; universities; Mexico.
