The Universidad Politecnica de Chiapas has ten years of foundation, in a short time has been consolidated in the development of several lines of research and technological growth related to areas such as nanotechnology and its application in topics such as thin films for solar cells through its Center for Research and Technological Development in Renewable Energy which has chemical laboratories of solar and wind energy, with equipment of last generation excelling in south-southeast of Mexico.
