SALAZAR CRUZ, Luz María. Types of internal forced displacements in Mexico. Iztapalapa. Rev. cienc. soc. humanid. [online]. 2014, vol.35, n.76, pp.53-81. ISSN 2007-9176. https://doi.org/10.28928/ri/762014/atc2/salazarcruzlm.
Forced internal displacement (FID) in Mexico, it is referred into this analysis, is a side-effect of a complex system of violence against the civilian population, which is not linked to organized crime organizations, and as an attempt to escape such violence effective exercise, at least partially. FID by himself is an effect violent. This article emphasizes three displacement modes: individual, family and collective, this differentiation helps us to understand the significance and magnitude of the problem in the affected population. We built information from accounts of displaced persons, and systematic monitoring of information with national records, to observe these shifts in the different México's states between 2007 and 2012.
