GONZALEZ MORENO, Alba y MOLERO JURADO, María del Mar. Intervention Resources for Working with Adolescents' Social Skills: A Qualitative Systematic Review. RMIE [online]. 2023, vol.28, n.98, pp.863-886. Epub 02-Oct-2023. ISSN 1405-6666.
Social skills refer to abilities that allow people to function in any context by expressing opinions or solving problems. The objectives of this study are to identify the intervention resources that have been developed in the past five years for adolescent students to promote social skills, and to prepare a qualitative analysis of the scientific articles that published these resources. A search was conducted in Web of Science, Scopus, and PsycINFO, resulting in a total of seventeen selected studies. The inclusion criteria were the type of document, the availability of a complete text, the date of publication, and the language. The results indicate that social skills programs have good results since they favor social skills and other variables such as self-esteem and personal well-being in adolescents. The study discusses the need to include various methodological tools in educational contexts to enhance the development of social skills in young people.
