The article deals with the propaganda concerning the events in Barcelona between the years 1893 and 1897. In order to go into such an exploration, the controversy within the working movement during that time is analyzed as well as the two anarchist schools of the time: the anarcho-collectivist and the anarcho-communist ones. Then the position of the most important Barcelona newspapers before the terrorist anarchist phenomenon is analyzed. Finally, the process of Montjuic where all the dissidents were judged and condemned, especially the anarchist ones, and the national and above all international repercussions that said process had are examined.
