The present work describes and examines the emergency and development of three political associations of Peruvian immigrants and its relationship with the emergence of a "cultural neighborhood", known by its inhabitants, the chilean press and some investigators as "Lima Chica", in Santiago the Chile. We talked about to the Comité de Refugiados Peruanos en Chile, to the Asociación de Inmigrantes por la Integración Latinoamericana y del Caribe (APILA), and to the Programa Andino para la Dignidad Humana (Proandes). These two processes are examined under the categories citizenship and transnationalism, the period that covers is that of 1990-2006.
