Objective: To know which are the main action strategies published by international health organizations and which of them are being practiced in Mexico to prevent overweight and obesity in the first one-thousand days of life. Methodology: Scoping review of technical documents and reports published in the databases of WHO, PAHO, UNICEF, CDC, and the portal of the Government of Mexico from 2014 to 2022. Results: The international strategies focus on timely prenatal control, postnatal stage, adequate feeding, physical stimulation and sleep, and training to health providers. In Mexico, the strategies are aligned to the recommendations given by international agencies. Limitations: The results should be taken as a current report of the situation, given that the synthesis produced is only informative. Value: The given information allows a general overview health problem that has information gaps and to present a recommendations guide for future research. Conclusions: Mexico adapts international overweight and obesity prevention strategies for the first one-thousand days in various health programs, but they have not been evaluated.
